FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
If our company is entitled to a refund for a late shipment, does
FedEx, UPS and DHL let us know?
No. 95% of all companies never check their invoices for
eligible refunds. It is up to your company to check each and
every shipment. None of the carriers will inform your company of
an eligible refund for a late shipment. Even more interesting,
most carriers will not even credit lost shipments, until and
unless you discover the lost shipment and request a refund.
RefundShipping.com’s objective is to find those shipments that
arrive late and place a request for a refund on your behalf.
What does it cost my company for your refund recovery service?
All
of our fees are 100% contingent upon our ability to find
shipments that are eligible for refunds and obtaining the
refund. Our fees are determined based on a percentage of the
recovery. In all cases, your company only pays a fee for the
actual shipping fees credited to your account by the carrier.
Sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?
Just to demonstrate how much money our service can save your
company, we will run a one-week audit for free. Your company’s
only effort is the time to send us a copy of your most recent
weekly invoices from one or all of your shippers. We offer
this one-time free service because we are certain that we can
show your company the refunds your company has been missing.
What
is the procedure, or what does OUR company have to do to get the
refunds?
Each week your company will only have to forward the e-mail that
you receive from UPS, FedEx, FedEx Ground or DHL. We will run a
report from this document to find the eligible refunds. Once a
month we will bill you for our contingency fee.
Do you sell or share our company information with other
companies?
We
do not sell or share any of your company’s information with
anyone. The shipping information that we receive from your
company is completely confidential and is only used to obtain
your refunds from the carriers that you use. Our service
agreement with your company includes an absolute non-disclosure
clause.

What
does RefundShipping.com service cost?
Our
fees are 100% contingent on the actual refunds we recover for
your company. If you do not get a refund, you do not owe us
anything.
Can RefundShipping.com run a test to see if it is worthwhile to
my company to set up this program?
RefundShipping.com can set up a one-week free trial just to
demonstrate how much these refunds can be worth to your
company. All you have to do is send us via e-mail, one week’s
billing invoices from your shippers (UPS, FedEx, FedEx Ground
and DHL). We will run the report with our state-of-the-art
software and send the report to you for your inspection. You
will be surprised by the detail of the information. The report
will find late shipments, lost shipments, manifested but not
shipped, and in-transit shipments. If your company uses more than
one carrier, our report will provide the information to compare
performance of the shippers against each other.
What
effort does it take on my company’s part to start getting our
refunds with RefundShipping.com?
The
only effort your company has to make is (1) to give us the name and contact
number for your customer service rep from your shipping company
and (2) to forward over the e-mail invoices once a week. We take the
invoices from the shipper and run the report of all eligible
refunds. Once we have a report of the eligible refunds, we
place a request for the refunds on your company’s behalf. Each
month we bill your company for our contingency fee.. based on the
actual refunds received by your company from the shipper.
How many packages do we have to ship per week to make this
beneficial to our company?
This number varies greatly. The price per shipment is based on
the weight, size and time for delivery time. If you primarily
ship 2-day or overnight, your shipping cost will be greater and
you are likely to see a larger refund. In any case, any refund
of shipping costs adds to your company’s profit. Can your
company afford to walk away from any added profit?
How
many of my packages arrive late?
Typically, UPS, FedEx, FedEx Ground or DHL can be late 3% to 8%
of the time. Depending on the type of service you use and where
you ship (rural vs. urban), that figure can climb as high as
20%.
Can RefundShipping.com track overseas shipments?
Yes. Be advised that due to inspection delays and other
international policies, refunds are less
frequent.
Is my
company saving money by receiving a discount and waving our
right to guaranteed service refunds?
Normally,
FedEx, FedEx Ground, UPS and DHL offer a 1% discount if your
company waives their guaranteed service refunds. Do the math,
if your company’s shipments are typically late 4% on the time,
your company is not benefiting by this waiver. More
importantly, what incentive is there for on-time service if
there is no penalty for late shipments?
